Stainless steel and sterling silver naturally tarnish when exposed to items you'd use on a daily basis that contains sulphur such as salt water, chlorine, leather and even air pollution can have effects on steel and silver.

Our designs and pieces, we think, do look best with some character, but if you want to keep your Obsidiann pieces looking glimmering and shiny, simply polish them all with a polishing cloth, specifically designed for silver, these can be purchased at most convenience stores and jewellery stores.
